Get Rid of Your Acne Naturally
i have tried about 20 different acne treatments and the harsh chemicals in the products dry my face out no matter how much i moisterize or makes me break out more. so i want to try an all natural acne treatment tht is not expensive. what are your opinions and what are the best all natural acne treatments?
Hi, you should try this product. Its the number one rated acne treatment of 2008. ( Proactiv was number four, so you know this stuff is good lol) I just started using it and its working great for me. It cures your acne from the inside out and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals. Read more about it here: http://www.acnezine.com/?aid=284790 If you don’t like that then go to this website and read about the hollistic treatments http://www.acnehelp4u.net/
ok so i have really bad acne im always stressed out and im self conscious i have EXTREMELY sensitive skin to i have tried all the big name brands but not clearasil yet and i have tried almost all of the home remedies and they haven’t worked and i asked my friends what they use (they have both really nice clear skin. one of my friends uses clearasil ultra rapid action daily face wash, clearasil ultra rapid action pads, and clearasil rapid action treatment cream it says your skin is supposed to be visisiby “clearer” in 12 hours. my other friend uses an all natural stress relief scrub with soothing ccucumber and green tea with camelli oleifera leaf extract, and flower extract i don’t know if the all natural one will be as powerful as the clearasil but i need most of my acne visably gonna in a week when i see my boy friend which one will clear by my acne up the fastest be honest i need to know honestly especially since i have tried every thing and nothing helps so do you think the clearasil ultra rapid action stuff that takes 12 hours to visable see “clearer” skin or the all natural acne scrub?
Active ingredients in products you should try: Benzoyl Peroxide (10%)- usually prescription, but some now OTC, Salycylic Acid, Triclosan (an antibacterial/antifungal)
These are the typical meds for acne. If it’s really bad and if you’re a girl, try birth control pills. Can also use Accutane, (prescription only).
As with any medical advice, always talk to your doctor first!!!
Sooooo…the other day, it occurred to me that maybe my acne isn’t getting better because I’m putting chemicals on my face. So, I decided I was gonna get all-natural makeup. Well, when I went to Whole Foods, the lady told me to just all-naturally treat it. So…I got cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, which she told me to do. And then I asked her about the makeup, what would be my best bet? And she said that it really doesn’t matter, as long as your face gets really clean at night. Which really baffles me. If I’m treating it, opening the pores or whatever, why would I just clog them with chemicals? I don’t get it. Anyone know? Anyone have suggestions? Cause I’m really tired of this crap.
I seem to have many spots/zits all over my mid-drift and chest. As I am that age, is that natural, or should acne only be on your face?
Thanks in advance.
Yes the chest and back are a common site for acne as well as on your face
(LOL yes people will start to talk! your nemesis is telling people I have stolen you from her! she was very upset with you yesterday)
Im doing a chemistry science project about natural cures for acne and I was wondering if you the public could give me some heads up on your own natural homade remedies so I could look further into which chemicals and substances I should further research. Thank you for all your help and the one with the best homeade remedy will receive best answer!
Before OTC and prescription pharmaceutical remedies Vitamin A was prescribed for acne. We’ve just started trying it here, but haven’t used it long enough to give you a definitive answer. We are taking 10,000 IU daily.
Recently I bought some almond goat’s milk soap from http://www.salleyeander.com and I’m really excited about using it for my body because it is absolutely all natural soap and I have pretty sensitive skin. I’m wondering, do you think using this soap on my face would be a good idea? I am already using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (the orange stuff) and it seems to be gentle enough, however, it is a little bit drying – I do have oily skin, and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything for my acne. Do you think using the all natural soap would be beneficial? I’m not expecting miraculous results, I’m just worried that it is going to create even more acne which is the last thing that I want right now. It states that it’s safe to use on every part of your body, and even that it is great for your complexion, and sally eander even makes facial washes but, do you think it would be alright to use it, or no?
Thanks!
Witch Hazel. It’s about .79 a bottle, is cheap, basically all natural, doesn’t dry out skin, etc. That stuff really works.
Also, try Apple Cider Vinegar diluted w/ a bit of water, or baking soda made into a paste w/ water (leaving it on overnight). DO NOT use toothpaste or a bobby pin, despite what you might have heard.
I don’t want to go to the store and buy acne products but is there any things you can find in your household to get rid of acne?
what is something natural that i can use for my face and body acne? im 14yrs old and male. i would perfer like something that i would use orally like a tea or like a bath in something because its kind of hard and akward to apply creams all over your back, shoulders, face ect.
Kory,
Get small doses of the sun for body acne. You need to use any acne fae wash with a brush on a stick.
The face find a three step system and use it. Twice a day.
There are no ‘home’ remedies strong enough to fight the bacteria that causes acne.
In addition to the wash, etc. take vitamins a e and c and zinc. Orally.
1-wash face with acne cream, then with lime or lemon juice(I have lime juice at the moment)
2-putting egg whites on for 10-15 minuets
3-putting a mix of mix 3 tablespoons of honey with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon on as a spot treatment, and washing off in the morning
4-in the morning, rubbing fresh garlic on pimples
5-using cleanser again
7-putting ice on pimples that do not have a head yet
Washing and dabbing acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar in morning or night
using a face mask made of oats and water
using sugar to scrub face when I wash my face, at least once a day
using a baking soda-water mix to rub into face gently for 10-15 seconds then removing and patting dry with a clean cloth
giving myself a weekly facial by mixing a yolk of an egg with two tablespoons of milk and half a tablespoon of honey. Apply this on your face and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water. If you’re out in the sun a lot, milk mixed with melted butter helps soften the dry skin.
and using lemon juice(when we get some) to reduce freckles.
I only want to know if using this many things(and I wouldn’t do all of them, I just haven’t decided which to use yet) will be harmful to my skin, or will back fire. Thx
and heard that toothpaste helps, if left on a pimple over night?
I had bad acne when I was younger and tried many of these home remedies – I can tell you that they didn’t work at all from my experience and sometimes made my acne worse or gave me huge red rashes on my skin. Not pretty!
Honestly, the best thing is a good acne scrub and antibacterial soap – wash your face with hot water morning and night, and use soap and a good scrub. Benzoyl peroxide works well for many people and is easy to find at the drug store (didn’t work for me because I’m highly allergic to it).
anybody know of something i could make at home to rub on my face to get rid of acne and to get rid of oil and moisturize and all that. something more natural then stuff sold in stores. like ingredients that consist of oats and stuff like that. i dont know much about skin and that kind of stuff so i would really appreciate your guy’s help.
i heard honey, or a oats mask
but try one of these
Dab a small amount of toothpaste (paste, not gel) on pimples before bed; this helps dry out the pimples.
Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and rose water, apply to face with a cotton ball, and allow to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing. 15-20 days of this application helps cure pimples and also helps to remove blemishes and scars.
Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
For acne that hasn’t seemed to respond to anything, steep 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves in 1 cup boiling water for 10-20 minutes, cool, and apply to affected area with a cotton ball.
