*DISCLAIMER: These are tricks that worked for me. I was advised by my doctor and have seen a significant amount of not only weight loss, but improved health. Last summer I was diagnosed as borderline diabetic, had high cholesterol/blood pressure. Thanks to a healthier lifestyle I am no longer any of these! Tips I forgot to add: •Eat healthy small meals throughout the day. I liked to snack on apples & raw almonds which have a lot of fiber and keep you full. •Chew your food slowly •Lose weight gradually and at your own pace. •Listen to your body. If it’s hurting, slow down or stop altogether. Don’t let injuries set you back…take it easy and come back when you’re ready •Discover a workout that’s fun. It’ll encourage you to stick with it and stay on the path to wellness. •Find a workout buddy to help keep you motivated •Be resourceful: you don’t need a gym membership to exercise. Walking, running, biking, and hiking are fantastic ways of getting fit without spending a dime! •Above all, have fun!
